South Alabama men rout Arkansas St. 87-67
Rodrick Sikes scored a game-high 32 points and South Alabama held Arkansas State to 35.0 percent shooting in an 87-67 win Saturday afternoon.
Sikes hit the 30-point for the fifth time this season, which is a new school record. He scored 21 points in the first half alone.
Josh Ajayi scored 21 points on 9-for-11 shooting, and Trhae Mitchell added 13. Nick Davis tied his career high with 11 rebounds.
The Jaguars ended the first half on an 8-0 run to lead 39-22, then used an 18-4 run to go up 67-36, capped off with two Sikes 3-pointers.
The Jags go to Appalachian State on Thursday. Tip off is set for 6:30 p.m. CST.
