South Alabama baseball sweeps series after win against UTA: 7-2

South Alabama baseball sweeps series against the University of Texas-Arlington 7-2 on Sunday.

UTA scored its first run of the game on a two-out RBI single to left-center field by Josh Minjarez to cut the Jag lead to 7-1.

Hardy who went 3-for-5 with a double and two runs scored. Davis finished 2-for-3 with three RBIs, and Russo added a home run, two RBIs and one run scored.

The win was the Jags' third series sweep at Stanky Field this year.

South Alabama will play again Tue., May 15, when they travel to Hammond, La., for a 6 p.m. contest with Southeastern Louisiana.
