Jags stop 3-game slide with win over Little Rock

South Alabama's Trhae Mitchell had a career-high 19 points and the Jaguars shot 50.9 percent from the floor in a 73-56 win over Little Rock Thursday night.

Mitchell went 8 for 12 from the floor and grabbed seven rebounds. Josh Ajayi had 16 points and seven boards.

USA opened the second half on a 12-2 run to take a 46-32 lead, then outscored LR 12-3 midway through the second half to go up 19 with 6:10 remaining.

The Jags host Arkansas State on Saturday at 3:05 p.m.
