South Alabama basketball hosts in-state rival Troy for a Sun Belt Conference doubleheader.

The women will tipoff at 3 p.m. and the men will follow at 5 p.m.

The Trojans' women's basketball team leads the conference 16-3, 7-1 in conference play. South Alabama is tied in the overall standings at 16-3, but with a 5-3 conference record. The Jaguars are coming into the game hot on a four-game win streak, while the Trojans look to extend their own win streak to three. Troy has the fifth highest scoring offense in the country.

The Troy Trojans men's squad comes to the Mitchell Center with a 10-10, 3-5 record, nearly identical to the Jags heading into this game. South Alabama is 10-11 with a 3-5 conference record.

Troy's Jordon Varnado is the conference's leading scorer at 21.7 points per game with three 30-point outings, including a season-best 33 at Louisiana on Saturday. USA has had a 20-point scorer in each of its last 13 games, and in 19 of 21 games this season. Trhae Mitchell (7), Josh Ajayi (6) and Rodrick Sikes (6) have combined for 19 of the team's 21 games with 20 points or more.

A win Saturday would be the Jaguars' 200th at the Mitchell Center for the men's program. The Jaguars are 199-93 in 20 seasons in their home arena. Eight of those wins have come against Troy (8-5).

The NCAA basketball championship trophy will also be at the Mitchell Center for fans to take pictures from 2 p.m. until halftime of the men's game.
