Alabama men’s basketball falls on the road to Texas A&M


    COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Alabama men's basketball team fell to Texas A&M, 65-56, Tuesday night inside Reed Arena. Alabama (15-11, 6-7 SEC) led for a majority of the contest, until the Aggies ended the game on a 24-6 run to pull away.

    Junior Tevin Mack led all Alabama scorers with 14 points and a team-high two steals in the game, while graduate student Riley Norris ended the game with nine points. Sophomore John Petty Jr. entered back into the starting lineup and added seven points and a team-high six rebounds. Alabama’s bench scored 32 points marking the 11th time they have added 30 or more points in a game this season.

    Alabama returns to action Saturday evening to take on Vanderbilt at Coleman Coliseum. The contest is set to tipoff at 5 p.m. CT and will be televised on ESPNU.
