Gulf Shores city schools continue search for superintendent as state delays start decision
GULF SHORES, Ala. (WPMI) —
With the deadline for decision from the State School Superintendent now passing without action, the President of the Gulf Shores City Board of Education announced Friday their intention to continue the process in picking a Superintendent for the new system
Dr. Richardson's representative has informed us there will be a delay of 10 to 14 days for the delivery of his decision regarding the start date for our school system. We are proceeding forward for a 2018 start. Our superintendent search application deadline is today, March 30th. We will begin vetting these candidates early next week. Thank you for your patience and attention. We will report any development as soon as it becomes available.
