Port Saint Joe recovering one month after the devastation of Hurricane Michael
PORT SAINT JOE, Fla. (WPMI) —
Port Saint Joe is rebounding from devastation.
We've shown you just what Hurricane Michael did to this city when it made landfall last month.
It hit very close to home for one of our reporters, Megan Gannon, who is from Port Saint Joe.
As her friends and neighbors recover, Megan vowed to never let her hometown be forgotten.
Almost six weeks after the storm, progress has been made but the debris and damage is still everywhere.
Michael may have caused a set back in Megan's hometown, but the resiliency of this community is unmatched and this is just the begnining of their comeback story.
