Project Education is getting results: Tonight we're happy to report the Mobile County School District repaired the massive potholes plaguing Pillans Middle School.

Parents alerted NBC 15 News to the craters in the school's driveway doing damage to their cars.

They say they've been complaining about the problem for years with no results.

Yesterday, we asked the district why nothing was done and got a promise of a temporary fix. Which as you can see was completed today.

Tonight one grateful parent sent us a message. It states: "Thanks so much. We should have called you earlier instead of complaining to the school board. Thanks for solving real problems."

You can tell us about issues affecting our local schools by calling our Project education tip line at 251-652-1210.

We promise to hold those in charge accountable to make sure all of our students have what they need to succeed.
