Mother of California shooting victim speaks out in viral video
THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (WPMI) —
The mother of a victim of the California bar shooting is speaking out.
Susan Orfanos, mother to Telemachus Orfanos, said she doesn't want any thoughts or prayers; Instead, she wants gun control legislation.
"My name is Susan Orfanos. My son was Tel Orfanos. We lost him last night at the borderline shooting. My son was in Las Vegas with a lot of his friends and he came home. He didn't come home last night, and I don't want prayers. I don't want thoughts. I want gun control, and I hope to god nobody else sends me any more prayers. I want gun control. No more guns! Thank you!"
Orfanos was one of 12 people killed when 28-year-old Ian David Long, walked into the Borderline Bar and Grill and opened fire.
The motive for the shooting is unknown.
