Tracking wet weekend weather

(image: WPMI) Tracking wet weekend weather

Our next weather maker is getting ready to roll through the region. Expect scattered showers, mainly between 3 pm and 9 pm, to produce up to 0.25" of rainfall. This is not a code red weather event, however afternoon and evening travel will be impacted by wet and slippery roads.

Look for clearing and cooler conditions on Sunday with highs in the upper 50s. It stays dry for much of the week ahead until we get close to the weekend.

Looking Ahead: The next storm threat brings us showers Friday (1/18) and the potential for thunderstorms on Saturday (1/19). We'll keep our eye on this system and let you know how much of a threat it poses to our area as we get closer.
