Saraland teen skating rink manager accused of sexual torture now indicted in federal court
SARALAND, Ala. (WPMI) —
19-year-old Sean Howell, the former manager for the Skateland Skate Center in Saraland, has been indicted in Mobile Federal Court on child sex charges.
The 10-count indictment includes 3 counts of enticing a child and 7 counts of production and attempted production of child pornography.
Howell is set for an appearance in Federal Court on Thursday, the same day he is due in Mobile Circuit Court on 11 state child sex charges.
Jonathan Friedlander, Howell’s attorney on the state charges, filed a motion late Friday requesting a special setting in late February on these charges.
The federal indictment identifies 5 separate victims.
Saraland PD arrested Howell on 10 sex charges on December 16, 2018. The charges include sodomy first (2 counts), enticing a child (2 counts), sex abuse (2 counts), producing pornography with minor, transmitting obscene material to minor, possession of child pornography and facilitating the travel of a minor for unlawful sex act.
