MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) — State Rep. Napoleon Bracy presented Vigor High School with a $20,000 check Wednesday morning. The money went to purchase buses to help transport the football team, band, cheerleaders, plus students, Vigor Alum, and fans to Jordan-Hare stadium as well.
Rep. Bracy made a promise a few months ago that he would take care of Vigor if they made it to the Super Seven.
“We are going to take Prichard stadium to the state championship game,” said Rep. Bracy.
In total, 12 buses will be going to Auburn over the next two days to help cheer on the Wolfpack in the Class 5A state championship game.
The student and fan buses will depart Thursday around lunchtime and Vigor will face Central-Clay County High School Thursday night at 7 p.m.
