MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) — A Mobile man has been sentenced to Life in Prison for the 2020 fatal shooting of Machavellia “Mike” Bagsby, according to Mobile County District Attorney Keith Blackwood.
Leo Alexander was sentenced Monday morning by Mobile County Circuit Court Judge Brandy Hambright to Life in Prison for his role in the death of Mike Bagsby on October 15, 2020.
“We believe that justice was served today,” said Mobile County District Attorney Keith Blackwood. “Leo Alexander maliciously took the life of our victim, Mike Bagsby who had a wife and children.”
In October 2024, a jury of Alexander’s peers convicted him of Intentional Murder after days of testimony.
