Mobile civil rights icon Vivian Malone continues to open doors for a new generation
MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) —
She made history in Alabama and the nation when she was met by the governor at the school house door.
Mobile’s Vivian Malone fought racial discrimination to become the first African-American to graduate from the University of Alabama.
Now, more than 10 years after her death, Vivian Malone is still opening doors in Alabama for a new generation of minority business owners.
