Lawsuit against Roy Moore will stay in Montgomery County
MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) —
Alabama's Supreme Court has ruled that a lawsuit against former Chief Justice Roy Moore will stay in Montgomery County.
Moore is being sued by Leigh Corfman for defamation.
Moore filed a petition to move the trial out of Montgomery County, but the court denied that request.
Corfman accused Moore of abusing her in 1979 in Etowah County when she was 14 and he was 32. Corfman sued saying Moore's senate campaign defamed her.
