Harassment charges dropped against Chikesia Clemons
MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) —
It's a measure of justice in a different case for the woman at the center of a controversial Waffle House arrest.
Nine-month-old harassment charges against Chikesia Clemons were dropped Monday morning after the victim failed to show for court.
The charges were unrelated to the April 22 Waffle House arrest, in which cell phone video shows Clemons being wrestled to the floor by three police officers.
She is accused of being drunk and disorderly.
Her arrest ignited accusations of racism and police brutality.
