OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WPMI) — An Okaloosa County, Florida woman is facing charges for driving while intoxicated with an unbuckled child inside the vehicle.
Sheriff officials say Felicia Freeman of Baker, Florida was driving a pickup truck over the weekend on Airport Road and nearly hit a sheriff official's vehicle head-on, forcing him off the road.
He pulled Freeman over and said he smelled alcohol. She was arrested for DUI and blew almost twice the legal limit.
Inside the vehicle were two kids, including a 7-year-old, riding in a folding lawn chair next to the driver's seat.
He wasn't buckled in.
Freeman's also charged with child neglect.
