MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) — The Mobile County Commission will discuss offering a $4 million incentive package to Airbus.
The incentives will support airbus’ new a-220 final assembly line at the Brookley Aeroplex.
Terms of the agreement call for Mobile County to contribute $400,000 annually for 10 years.
The incentives are tied to measurable achievements by Airbus, including a $210 million capital facilities investment and the hiring of 432 new employees.
The agreement encourages Airbus to partner with AIDT and Flight Works to provide job training.
A vote on the incentive package will happen Monday.
