Davidson High School hires new head football coach
MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) —
A new permanent head coach has been hired for the Davidson High football team.
The school has brought on Rick Cauley, taking him away from B.C. Rain.
Davidson went 6-5 and made the playoffs under interim coach Shawn Smith this season.
He was thrown into the job after coach Fred Riley retired just before the season started.
Cauley was 0 and 10 in his only season at B.C. Rain, but previously spent 19 years as a coach at Murphy High.
