Chilling 911 calls made during the height of monster Hurricane Michael

Monday marked two months since Category 4 Hurricane Michael devastated several Gulf Coast cities.

It's the most powerful storm to ever hit the panhandle.

More than 40 people in Florida were killed by the storm.

The city of Mexico Beach was essentially wiped off the map while Panama City Beach suffered extensive damage.

We're hearing some 911 calls made into Bay County emergency services of people trapped inside their homes and one woman who sought shelter in a stranger's house.

There are several hours of calls like that: people begging for someone to come get them.

In some cases, the helpless dispatchers broke down.

We know that the last caller was able to escape his mobile home and get to a neighbor's house for safety.
