MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) - The archdiocese of Mobile will be releasing names of clergy removed after child abuse accusations since 1950.
Each of the four dioceses in Alabama and Mississippi - Archdiocese of Mobile, Diocese of Birmingham, Diocese of Biloxi, and the Diocese of Jackson - will issue its own list.

The Archdiocese of Mobile will publish the names of clergy and religious who were removed from ministry due to an accusation of abuse of a minor.
Each of the four Catholic dioceses in Alabama and Mississippi (Archdiocese of Mobile, Diocese of Birmingham, Diocese of Biloxi, and the Diocese of Jackson) will issue its own list.
The list of the Archdiocese of Mobile will include accusations since 1950.
It is a time-consuming effort to examine each clergy personnel file from the last almost 7 decades. This effort is underway and will be completed as quickly as possible.
