Alabama mental health fund grows by $11 million
MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WPMI) —
We're learning $11 million is now on the way to Alabama's medicaid-eligible children suffering severe emotional problems, including those on the autism specturm.
Governor Kay Ivey says another 25 million federal dollars will bring the total funding to $36 million.
That money, aimed at expanding community and home-based services, will be available starting October 1st.
