AFC Mobile game breaks attendance records
MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) —
More than 800 soccer fans filled the stands at Archbishop Lipscomb Athletic Complex, the most to ever watch a Gulf Coast Premier League game.
But it wasn't enough to help AFC Mobile take home their first win, falling to the Gulf Coast Texans of Pensacola 2 to 1.
History was made in the 32nd minute of the game when Moses Muhabao made the first ever AFC Mobile goal, soaring past Gulf Coast Texan goal keeper Rudy Seelman.
But the crowd support left Mobile's new team smiling, even in defeat.
