Cool Schools: Corpus Christi Catholic School

(IMG:WPMI) Cool Schools: Corpus Christi Catholic School

It’s Cool Schools Friday and we are heading to Corpus Christi Catholic School where we are highlighting not only academics, but the teachers and students of this school.

Corpus Christi science teachers are using science labs to help teach their junior high students how to use and understand science tools like microscopes before they get into high school.

Corpus Christi is also home to Nappie Award’s Coolest Middle School teacher, Peter Stoyka. Students at CCS say they love Mr. Stoyka because he makes learning fun and he teaches them lessons in unique ways.

The entire school is also in the process of a school-wide project called “Feed a Bee” which will help the bee population grow in the state and help Alabama farmers with their crops.
