MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) —
Psoriasis is a condition occurring when the immune system overreacts, causing inflammation and flaking of the skin. What happens is the skin cells grow too fast and results in thick, white, silvery or red patches of skin. Flare-ups can occur when the air is cold or in a dry climate, when you are sick, have an infection or stressed.
Coastal Clinical Research, Inc. (CCR) has conducted over 65 dermatology trials since 1987.
We are currently seeking participants for our new mild to moderate psoriasis clinical research trial using an investigational medication.
Qualified participants will receive study-related care at no cost and will be compensated up to $760 for time and travel. Insurance is not required.
Patient study care will be overseen by Dr. Aldo Trovato or Dr. Kathryn Dempsey, both board-certified dermatologist. All patients will be seen at Coastal Clinical Research.
