Jags fall flat at Georgia St.
(Atlanta)--Just two plays into its game at Georgia State, the University of South Alabama put itself in a bad spot. Dallas Davis threw to Messiah Francis, the football skipped off his hands and was picked off by Bryan Williams, who returned it to the Jags 6-yard line. Three plays later the Panthers scored a touchdown when Conner Manning hit Glenn Smith on a 3-yard touchdown making it 7-0.
The Jaguars only managed 41 rushing yards. Davis did throw for 297 yards, but 75 of that came on a touchdown bomb to Jamarius Way with under 3 minutes to play.
South Alabama hosts Louisiana-Lafayette November 4th.
