Football Finalizes Gameplan for Divisional Matchup at Texas A&M
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The University of Alabama went through a final practice on Thursday afternoon, working a 90-minute session in shells at the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility.
The Crimson Tide worked its final full practice before using Friday to travel to College Station. Alabama and Texas A&M are set for a 6:15 p.m. CT kickoff on Saturday evening at Kyle Field. The matchup between the SEC West foes will air on ESPN with Joe Tessitore and Todd Blackledge in the booth and Holly Rowe working the sidelines.
Alabama and Texas A&M will meet for the 10th time in series history on Saturday. The Crimson Tide holds the all-time advantage, 7-2, and won last year’s contest, 33-14, in Tuscaloosa. Alabama has won the last four meetings between the two schools, including a 41-23 win in the Tide’s last trip College Station in 2015. That 2015 victory featured a four-interception performance by the UA defense paired with a 236-yard, two-touchdown game from eventual Heisman Trophy winner Derrick Henry.
