Senior Bowl hires Jim Nagy as Executive Director
(Mobile)--It didn't take long to replace Phil Savage as executive Director of the Senior Bowl. Just over two weeks after Savage left the position, the all-star game named Seattle Seahawks area scout Jim Nagy as his replacement.
Nagy had been with the Seahawks for the past five seasons. He has nearly two decades of scouting experience, which includes stops in Washington, New England and Kansas City.
“Jim has excellent interpersonal skills required to establish trusted contacts at universities and across the agent community and has a strong team, goal and action-oriented approach he developed at the most competitive level of football,” Angus Cooper, the chairman of the Mobile Arts & Sports Association, said in a statement.
Nagy has lived in Mobile for the past 6 years and his wife is from the city.
The Senior Bowl also announced for Mississippi State head coach and longtime NFL assistant, Sylvester Croom will also be joining the game as Senior Vice President of Operations.
