Two people shot at Christmas Parade in Sanford, N.C.
SANFORD, N.C. (WPMI) —
Police say two people were shot at a Christmas Parade in Sanford, N.C. on Monday night.
The shooting happened around 8 p.m. Eastern time, ending the parade abruptly.
One is in stable condition and another was life-flighted to UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.
Witnesses say seven or eight shots were fired.
According to police the shooting is not a random incident. A suspect has also been taken into custody.
