Parents accused of killing 2-year-old appear in court
COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) - The parents of a 2-year-old child appeared in court Saturday morning for killing him.
Aiden was found unresponsive Wednesday at an apartment complex in Colerain Township.
He died a short time later at the hospital.
Police say the boy's father, Gianfranco Marin, confessed to the crime.
Court documents show there were signs of abuse.
During a 911 call made by the child's mother, Samantha Sicker, she can be heard saying that her son had a "small little fall out of his playpen" and "went into my mom's hardwood entertainment center and then he wasn't breathing too good."
Sicker is charged with lying to police.
She's being held on a $5,000 bond.
Marin is now being held on a $500,000 bond.
