Search for MCPSS Superintendent down to three candidates

The three candidates who want to lead the charge in your children's education are set to go before the public and the Mobile County Board of School Commissioners for their interviews.

The three candidates are Walter Fenn, a former superintendent in Texas and current Assistant Superintendent in Chilton County, Alabama, John Gunn, Associate Director of Schools in Lawrence County, TN and Chresal Threadgill, the current Chief

of Staff for the Mobile County Public Schools.

The interviews are this morning at the central office in West Mobile from 8:30 until 11:25 a.m.

You're invited to watch and there will be open public forums with the candidates this afternoon starting at 3:45 p.m.

The board will choose the new superintendent March 21st. He or she will start work July 2nd.
