Not Guilty: Doctor cleared in Three Doors Down guitarist's death

(IMG:WPMI) Not Guilty: Doctor cleared in Three Doors Down guitarist's death

A federal jury has sided with Dr. Richard Snellgrove on federal charges related to the death of three doors down guitarist Matthew Roberts.

Roberts died of a drug overdose in August 20016.

Prosecutors say Snellgrove over-prescribed Roberts Fentanyl and other powerful painkillers leading to his death.

Today a federal jury found the Fairhope doctor not guilty.

He still faces a civil lawsuit from Roberts' family.
