Mobile County Internship Program kicks off Wednesday
MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) —
There are young people in our community who are spending their summer investing in their futures and you're about to meet 66 of them.
Those 66 Mobile County students will begin summer job internships with Mobile County.
This includes training that will help them further their career education and land good jobs when they graduate.
The interns will be placed into premiere jobs throughout the community.
The internships feature 35 hours of job skills training, followed by four weeks on that job.
Training will include technology and software classes, as well as basic essential skills such as banking, budgeting, personal presentation and business etiquette.
This is the 6th year the Mobile County Commissioners and their partners have sponsored the program.
