Man accused of shooting deputy did not know he was shooting at law enforcement
BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WPMI) —
Defense attorneys say the man accused of shooting a Baldwin County deputy did not know he was shooting at law enforcement.
Attorneys say deputies did not have lights flashing when they approached Forrest Bullin's Stockton home, last month.
Investigators say someone threatened to kill him after Bullin allegedly attacked a woman.
The defense says that's why Bullin opened fire when he saw headlights, injuring Corporal Mike Walker.
Prosecutors argue deputies didn't use their lights because they didn't want Bullin to run.
