Creola train crash victim identified as an Eight Mile man


Corey Lynn Arnold, 46, was killed in a traffic accident involving a train around 3:00 p.m. Thursday.

Arnold was driving a tow truck when a train, owned by Norfolk Southern, struck his vehicle while he was attempting to move his truck off the railroad tracks. Arnold was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash occurred on Suttles Crossover, just north of Creola, Alabama. Alabama State Troopers are investigating the tragic accident.


Law enforcement confirms that a local tow company's truck was hit by a train near Creola.

Law enforcement are saying there are fatal injuries.
