According to Mobile Police on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at approximately 12: 57 p.m. police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Theodore Dawes Road and Old Pascagoula Road.

Police made contact with the driver who was unable to produce a driver’s license.

The vehicle, a Chrysler Town & Country, was also occupied by two females.

During the course of the stop, it was discovered that the vehicle contained 17 cats and 4 dogs.

The vehicle was overrun with roaches and other pests along with a large amount of refuse/litter throughout.

Animal Control responded and checked the temperature in the vehicle, which returned a temperature of 108 degrees.

One of the female passengers was transported to the hospital with health issues.

The driver, identified as 40-year-old Bruce Stiles, and Tonya Pamplin, 42, were arrested.
