BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WPMI) —
Throughout the course of the year the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office noted an unusual trend of the theft of disabled motor vehicles from the roadside of I-65.

On Friday, November 17, 2017, the vehicle was taken from its location by Charles Randall Williams of Lapine, AL.
He was contacted on a traffic stop made in neighboring Escambia County, AL, near mile marker 77.
The stolen vehicle was located on the back of the suspect’s “Roll Back” style tow truck.
Williams operates a towing business in Montgomery, AL.
