Mobile Police confirm they have made an arrest in the case of a stolen vehicle that led to an across-the-Bay police chase.

Daphne PD notified Spanish Fort PD about a stolen 2007 Ford F150 Pickup Truck from a gas station near I-10 and Highway 98.

A Spanish Fort officer saw the stolen truck on the causeway where it meets I-10 and attempted to stop the truck when the suspect fled the scene and started the chase.

They went through the Bankhead Tunnel and ended up in downtown Mobile.

The chase ended on Jackson Street in downtown Mobile and 55-year-old Rodney James Hall was taken into custody. The chase started around 10:22 AM and ended with Hall in custody by 10:27 AM.

He is being charged with attempting to elude by the Spanish Fort Police Department and more charges are expected to come from Daphne Police as well.
